Jonesboro, Ark., May 6, 2020 - On June 7, at 2:00pm, NEA Baptist will host a parade to celebrate cancer survivors in Northeast Arkansas. In cooperation with other local media groups, including MOR Media Inc., the parade program will be simulcast across multiple FM frequencies, including Jill at 99.3. This will allow survivors the ability to experience the celebration in its entirety while staying safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Survivors are asked to enter NEA Baptist campus through the south entrance and proceed to the NEA Baptist Clinic parking lot for the opening ceremony. They will be asked to tune to participating radio stations for audio of the program along with messages of hope from individuals across our region as well as fellow survivors. The event will conclude with a parade down the south side of the medical campus where the community is invited to hold signs in celebration of these brave individuals as they pass by.

For the safety of everyone, we ask that participants along the parade route please practice social distancing.
