Ghosts, Legends & the Unexplained at Crowley's Ridge State Park

On Friday, October 26th from 6:30-10pm, Crowley’s Ridge State Park will once again be the go-to destination for Halloween fun with Ghosts, Legends, and the Unexplained.

The event will feature a free trail of treats on Lake Ponder Trail with candy, carnival-style games, kid’s crafts, Halloween coloring activities, and much more. Candy will be donated by local businesses. Lake Ponder Trail is stroller & handicapped accessible, so bring the whole family.

The famous hayride through the haunted forest is sure to give you an ex-fear-ience you will never forget! The hayride will cost $4 for ages 6+, $2 for ages 2-5, and ages 2&under are free! The hayride will feature the ever popular zombies as well as ghostly visitors from the past. Sharp-eyed visitors might even spot the Wildman of Crowley’s Ridge while on the hayride.

All attendees are encouraged to bring a flashlight & a bag for candy.

Concessions and souvenirs will be available for purchase at the CCC Pavilion.

The event is CASH ONLY – checks & credit/debit cards will not be accepted.

Ticket sales for kid’s crafts and haunted hayride will end at 8:30pm. Please remember this when planning your evening. The trail of treats will end at 9pm, the haunted hayride will end at 10pm, and parking for the event will be in the open field near Walcott Lake.

This year the park will also be hosting a “Ghouls” and Boys costume contest. We encourage everyone, no matter the age, to join in on the fun. The age categories are:
