The Link Theatre Company will present the musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee March 12th-16th, 2025 at The Fowler Center on the campus of Arkansas State University.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a Tony Award winning musical comedy with music and lyrics by William Finn, with a book written by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman with additional material by Jay Reiss.

The show centers on a fictional spelling bee set in the geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally quirky grown-ups.

The Link Theatre Company is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and draws on the finest Broadway, University, and local talent in order to bring innovative musicals and plays to the Northeast Arkansas community.
