Period Impact Project
Period Impact Project is a not-for-profit whose purpose is to provide feminine products to young women who struggle to afford these.
We are participating in the Back to School Festival being held at Parker Park in Jonesboro on Saturday, August 9th.
We want to promote this to the community to let families know we can assist them that day and also to let others know who may want to help us by donating supplies or money.
Products like tampons and pads are very expensive. Government programs that assists families with food do not offer any assistance for these necessary products. Providing them at no cost can do so much for these young ladies' physical health as well as their self confidence.
For more information on the Period Impact Project, find them on Facebook.
