Paragould Economic Development Corporation

Organizing Community Cleanup for week of April 26-May 1, 2021

Volunteers needed to help keep Paragould beautiful

Volunteers are needed to participate in Paragould Economic Development Corporation annual spring community improvement week of April 26-May 1, 2021.

Everyone in Paragould is encouraged to participate in this year’s community improvement effort.  Civic and service organizations, church and youth groups, school groups and clubs, scouts, individuals, families, neighborhoods, and businesses can organize cleanup teams and pitch in.

The major cleanup effort will be scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 2021, organizations can also schedule cleanup projects anytime during the week.  On May 1, 2021 volunteers will meet at the Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce Office, in the historical Greene County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m.

Individuals who are not a part of a group participating with a specific project will be given work assignments that morning.   All the assignments will be able to be completed by noon, and all participants will finish in time to enjoy a free meal, which is sponsored by Focus Bank.

To insure we have enough supplies available, and prepare plenty of food, we need to hear from groups and individuals who plan to participate by April 23, 2021.  Please contact Allison Hestand, 870-236-7684 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
